All my miniature silverware is made exactly to 1/12 scale and works much as the original. Vessels are hollow, lids lift off or are hinged, and wooden handles are carved out of ebony.

All but the smallest bear the Sheffield assay office hallmark; the exceptions are the smallest items such as flatware, cutlery, egg cups and napkin rings.
